Summary0007953: coarse location updates are broken on large regions
Descriptioncoarse location updates are broken on large regions
protocol only supports BYTE type for x,y and z.
(Z is sent scaled by 0.25 or zero if > 1024)
X and Y will need some workaround possible in agreement with viewer devs.
this causes wrong locations/distances in minimap or radar in same circumstances.
Steps To Reproduceuncheck parcel option "Avatars on other parcels can see.." with a avatar on that parcel and located at x and/or y larger than 256m. Watch minimap on other avatars.

added test code for a possible solution:
Before conversion to BYTE, scale down position X and Y according to region side relative to normal size.
large regions will have lower resolution, but this should not matter much

ie:
float scale = thisAgentRegionSize / 256.0f
scale = 1.0f/scale;
position.X *= scale
position.Y *= scale;

viewers need to scale up ie:

float position = ??? get It from packet CoarseLocationUpdate bytes converted to floats;

float scale = thisAgentRegionSize / 256.0f
position.X *= scale
position.Y *= scale;

use it..
