Summary | 0007615: Landing point does not work in Var Regions. Teleport in always lands at 128,128, 25 and ignores the set landing point.
Description | Landing point does not work in Var Regions. Teleport in always lands at 128,128, 25 and ignores the set landing point. It is impossible to change the point at which an AV land when teleporting in no matter what the landing point is set to in About Land. This has not worked as long as I can remember, so I cannot say when it stopped working, or if it ever did. This seems to work correctly when teleporting into a normal (non-var) sim.

I've found that landing point doesn't work in non-var regions either. X and Y coordinates are correct, but Z is not. I've tried on OSGrid and Stand Alone with the same results. Windows/.Net, OSgrid 0.9.0.0 (Dev) 0f4d54b: 2016-08-21. |

- with the default option LandingPointBehavior_OS the landpoint Z position was not respected. Fixed on master - my test on a var region did work as expected, so ill need more information on that fail case :( |

For some reason this has started to be an issue again with dev master... not sure when it started. My level 100 region/parcel owner avatar arrives at 128,128,1 for example on the Oil Rig region (a normal 256x256 region with landing point set to 122,114,42) on OSGrid and my own AiLand grids which is underwater rather than on the preset Oil Rig deck arrival point. LandingPointBehavior is default in OpenSim.ini (commented out) ;LandingPointBehavior = LandingPointBehavior_OS |

I'm on 396ab14 2017-8-25 and the teleport routing is working fine for me on both vars and regular regions. LandingPointBehavior is default. |

For an avatar that is the region owner and admin level @OtakuMegane? And when you teleport to the region (ir log in directly to it as a fresh location), not when you relog already in place on it. It works always for other avatars. |

Yes both owner and admin level. All in-world teleporting seems to be routed correctly. However it seems directly logging in to the region does place me at the "default" 128,128 instead of the set landing point. |

Good spot OtakuMegane. I tested more carefully and I see the same as you. In world teleports place an owner/admin level avatar for a region correctly at the set landing point for the region when the default LandingPointBehavior_OS is set. Its just a login to a named region (that is NOT the one you were already on) that places you at 128,128,x. |

You are supposed to be able to set a direct login landing point in Regions.ini but I find this to fail too. |
