Summary0007458: [PROFILES]: Problematic response for image_assets_request from http://profiles.osgrid.org/profile.php/ [^]
DescriptionWhen a HG visitor arrives at a grid using the default inbuilt profiles module, there can be error messages relating to the lookup of a profile via the old PHP externally supported mechanism. E.g. on OSGrid and other grids.

[PROFILES]: Problematic response for image_assets_request from http://profiles.osgrid.org/profile.php/ [^]

Note also the possible error of an extra "/" being added on the end of the requested URL ending profile.php

I wonder if BlueWall, who created some of the new profile related inbuilt module, can comment on whether the "/" on the end of the profile.php URL is something that the new profile code is adding and it should be suppressed to make this work (perhaps)?

The php module has not support for some of the things included for support of Hypergrid.

That makes sense I just wanted to check if the "/" on the end was part of the problem.

I do occasionally see other related profile lookup messages for HG visitors from grids with OSGrid style profiles.. e.g.

20:42:45 - JsonRpc request 'avatarnotesrequest' to http://profiles.osgrid.org/profile.php/ [^] returned an invalid response: {}

Just a note also that I see RED profile related errors reported on the OpenSim.exe console for regions where a HG visitor from OSGrid arrives... e.g. this was one this morning on Openvue grid which is running r/25845. perhaps this should be caught and not reported as an exception and RED error similar to the other fields of the profiles, as we will probably be living with multiple profiles implementations and partial implementations for some time?

Have you noticed that "Exeception" is spelled incorrectly in the reported ERRORS? It should be "Exception". Is that a Mono/.NET bug? Or something in LibOMV? Or maybe something that can be fixed via a repetitive edit throughout the OpenSim code base?
