Summary | 0007001: avatar walking or running and flying or fast flyig have the same speed.
Description | I found out that the avatars dont have run speed when the are running or flying fast. explains why it take so long to move on mega :O done this test in osgrid and standalone the results are the same useing 0.8dev. with 0.7.6.1 its working fine. start walking and observe the speed. then start running and you see that the speed did not change. Same with flying. I use double top on the arrow up to start running.

For BulletSim, the parameter is: [BulletSim] AvatarAlwaysRunFactor = 1.3 This is applied to the forward velocity if AlwaysRun is set and not flying. The physics engine doesn't pick the forward velocity for avatars (walking or running) but is told the speed and direction to move via the TargetVelocity physics engine setting. Of the top of my head, I don't know how OpenSimulator itself comes up with the speeds. |
