|Summary||0006981: LOAD OAR fails for .tgz archives with "Magic number in GZIP header " error|
|Description||I've tried about six .tgz archive files from 3 different sources and all of them fail to load.|
Whereas all .oar files succeed.
" Aborting load with error in archive file NONE system.IO.InvalidDataException.
The Magic number in GZIP header is not correct. Make sure you are passing in a GZIP stream."
I read in an email to just try changing the filetype to .oar from .tgz --- that gave the same error.

Al Scotty (reporter)
Dan Banner found one that DOES work
LOAD OAR http://lkstuff.softpawhost.com/oars/FreebieMall.tgz [^]
So don't know why
-- and a couple more directly accessed from a web address.
I did notice the log:
When loading a .oar
"Loading OAR with version 0.8"
When loading the FreebieMall.tgz
"Loading OAR with version 0.7"
|My guess would be that they are corrupt in some way. I would suggest seeing if they decompress correctly in a program such as 7zip. You could also post the web links and I might take a look.|
