Summary0006676: Multiple variable names for MapTileDirectory and TilesStoragePath in .ini files
DescriptionRobust.HG.ini.example and Robust.ini.example

[GridService] section has
MapTileDirectory = "./maptiles"

[MapImageService] section has different variable name and no ./
TilesStoragePath = "maptiles"

It would be better if they were both set to MapTileDirectory = "./maptiles" to avoid confusion and configuration mistakes.

These two options hold different functions, and the comments for MapTileDirectory in the ini show the distinction...

    ;; Directory for map tile images of linked regions
    ; MapTileDirectory = "./maptiles"

These are images of regions that have been linked via Hypergrid and are separate, having no location or zoom level encoded in their name.

The TileStoragePath option is for the location that will hold the maptiles generated by your own regions.

I guess it doesn't hurt to set them to the same value, but I keep mine separated.

Okay... that was not at all obvious. The default does set them to the same directory. But I see then that you may want different parameter names and allow for the functionality to be separated. But the style of the default out to be "./maptiles" in both cases just for uniformity anyway then?

I know it means the same... but little variations like this, and the subtle name changes, are what makes folks like me tear their hair out all the time when we are tracking down configuration issues. And for me maps are just not working when hypergrid hopping at all. Maybe they are not expected to in V3 variants (e.g. Firestorm 4.4.0 OS)?
