Description | Opensim cannot find the opensimdefault.ini file (and possible other files) in this case i have batch file under windows that contains. "c:\opensim\bin\OpenSim.32BitLaunch.exe" its placed in the directory c:\scripts. when i start that batch file i get the following error from opensim. *************************************************************************** C:\Scripts>c:\opensim\bin\OpenSim.32BitLaunch.exe 32-bit OpenSim executor ----------------------- This application is compiled for 32-bit CPU and will run under WOW32 or similar. All 64-bit incompatibilities should be gone. 16:31:18 - [OPENSIM MAIN]: configured log4net using default OpenSim.exe.config 16:31:18 - [OPENSIM MAIN]: System Locale is en-US 16:31:18 - [OPENSIM MAIN]: Runtime gave us 1500 worker threads and 1000 IOCP threads 16:31:18 - Performing compatibility checks... 16:31:18 - Environment is compatible. 16:31:18 - Master ini file C:\Scripts\OpenSimDefaults.ini not found *************************************************************************** Opensim dont look in wich directory its installed and use that as base location. (unless overrided by comamnd line parameters. Best would be if opensim starts to retrieve its home directory where its installed and use that to find all the ini files. | ||||||||

1 Solution that seems to work. ************** CD c:\opensim\bin\ OpenSim.32BitLaunch.exe ************** Still wpould be much nicer if opensim just look automatic where its installed. |
