Summary0004995: Can't perform owner role functions for groups.
DescriptionI can't do group invites or set the group to Open Enrollment so that others can join without an invite.
Additional InformationThree things of note.

1) If you look at the group's roles, it shows 1 member and 0 owners. There should be 1 and 1.

2) You can't perform the owner functions if you have $groupEnforceGroupPerms set to TRUE in config.php. This makes sense because it enforces the role permissions. With 0 owners reported, my avatar can't perform owner functions. If this is set to FALSE, you can perform the functions at the expense of group permissions.

3) When it fails, I get this in OpenSim.log:

2010-08-28 20:13:00,765 ERROR - OpenSim.Region.OptionalModules.Avatar.XmlRpcGroups.XmlRpcGroupsServicesConnectorModule [XMLRPC-GROUPS-CONNECTOR]: Error:

Nebadon confirmed this behavior on Danger Grid, too.

Looking into this further, I see that the person who creates the group is, indeed, being assigned the Owner role in the DB. So it's being stored ok and retrieval is borked.

With debugging turned on, groups does seem to clearly know that my avatar is the owner of the group. But if I turn on enforcement of the group perms and try something that requires the owner role, the connector immediately pukes, as above, and nothing happens.

Groups are now not web-dependent, and are "core features", however, some grids still use web groups
