Summary0004072: os_SetPos , os_SetRot commands (dampened movement)
Descriptionpropose new opensim commands for scripting non-physical prims to move at a smooth variable rate of speed, either rotational or linear.

os_SetPos(vector,tau)*
os_SetRot(rotation,tau)

where Tau is a float varaible used to express the amount of motion dampening
(similar to movetotarget, but for non physical prims)

* no 10m limit os_SetPos,

currently using ll commands such as set pos has no speed limiter, so if you want to go slow makes movement very jerky (looping or setting a timer etc.)

would improve the look of opensim & ease of scripting (especially when the larger regions become available)

thankyou, just a thought

This would probably be superseded by llSetKeyframedMotion
