| Summary | 0001731: Avatar stands up inside other prims |
| Description | This happens most of the time in cases where you have chairs or other prims you sit on inside tight places and buildings with other prims close. When you stand up, you may tend to do it inside other prims, which causes you to be moved through them and thrown out somewhere else or ever get stuck there. One example is standing up under the floor, and you must get thrown back up rather then standing up in a place where the avatar can do so. |
| Additional Information | Suggested fix: When the avatar clicks the Stand Up button, Opensim shall verify if the location the avatar is about to stand up in fits the avatar's size and that its collision will not get squashed in between two prims. If the initial standing up place is too tight, the simulator should then look for the other most convenient place to stand up the avatar to, and if that one is to tight too the next spot and so on. The best choices of course shall always remain the closest spot to the prim the avatar was sitting on. |
