Summary0001236: Objects moved with "Edit linked parts" on jump back when serverside_object_permissions is set to true
DescriptionMoving an object with Edit linked parts is broken, prims jump right back after you move them. This too like other issues is caused by the flag serverside_object_permissions from opensim.ini being set to true rather then false.
Additional InformationRelated to an issue which I suspect it happens from the same cause.

Confirmation here too, moved a linked prim and it bounced back and all most put an eye out. Pretty serious and could cause injury.

can you check if this happens on SL as well, i seem to recall having issues there with it too. rotates stay, resizing works ok too, but reposition jumps back. (Meaning it might be a viewer issue)

There is also another issue which I believe is caused by the same thing; When you shift-drag a copy of a prim or object, sometimes (though rarely but still) you drag 2 copies at the same time, one snapping back over the original and creating a double.

Updated the description... serverside_object_permissions is once again to be blamed for this one too.

This curse appears to have been lifted in rev 4676. I can finally move linked parts again with serverside_object_permissions set to true, and they don't seem to snap back any more.
