0008544: MSBuild
It has been mentioned that one can use msbuild to create the latest OpenSim build, and it is recommended by MONO since xbuild is now deprecated. Invoking msbuild on Ubuntu would cause MSB4019, which complains several imported projects not found such as /usr/lib/mono/msbuild/15.0/bin/Microsoft.CSHARP.Targets... What need to be done to ensure the successful compilation using msbuild tool?

to compile 0.9.0.1 use xbuild. Its runprebuild does not produce a sln that recent msbuild can use.
0.9.1.0.0 does.

./runprebuild.sh
msbuild

//Ubit edit change: next only valid if compiling 0.9.1.0

specifically. If that does not work there is something missing on the system. Make sure to install mono-complete from the mono-project page and not the distributions version. Should be version 5.x or higher. Not a bug.
