Summary | 0008233: removing media on a prim does not work |
Description | Removing meida-on-a-prim does *not* work. User can remove it, but sim restart will restore the last link in media on a prim.
Why this is a problem: it takes loading time, while the face remains white(!) because the simulator will try to connect to the media on a prim.
Additionally, when putting media on a prim in a linkset, all faces will have the media-link and all prims will try to connect to the source. This results in long waiting times to display the prim texture, that remains WHITE while loading. |
Steps To Reproduce | Have a linkset object with media-on-a-prim, remove the media-on-a-prim on each face. This will seamingly work fine and the result appears to be "removed". Restart the region. All media-on-a-prim settings will be still there. |
