Hello :)

The patch has been included.

I've implemented the possibility to add / remove estate manager using

simulator region's console commands:

estate add manager <estate-id>[ <UUID> | <Firstname> <Lastname> ]

estate remove manager <estate-id>[ <UUID> | <Firstname> <Lastname> ]

Patch has been updated to apply to master (11th of July 2018)

2018-07-13 07:33
While you are in there, how about adding "show estates" to the command handling to bring in line with the other commands "show regions", "show users" and so on?
2018-07-13 07:37
@Tampa Feel free to add them to the patch. I have just made sure that the patch from Mandarinka Tasty was applyable to current master.
2018-07-13 07:39
If I knew how to do that I would not be asking...

Can this patch get some attention from core? It is a useful feature in applications such as Dreamgrid that automate useful tasks such as adding a user, a region and the estate manager with a few clicks via the GUI. In this case, it's the only step missing, the estate manager.

estate link region <estate ID> <region ID> - Attaches the specified region to the specified estate.

Added patch to add "show estates" as command alias for "estate show" to bring in line with other commands such as "show regions", tested against current master and working

Updated [^] to have the estate link region command.

Bill, there is no console method to add an Estate Manager to a sim while retaining ownership. There can be just one owner, but can be multiple managers.

Did you all miss the fact that my comment was right after aiaustin saying that show regions would be a good addition, and I was pointing out that it already existed ..

I'm sorry, Bill. He deleted his comment after you posted. I assumed you were mistaken about what I was asking. I apologize for any misunderstanding.
2019-01-25 11:02
Ahhhh, I was still seeing his comment until I did a full refresh for some strange reason ... Sorry for getting a little bent ..

I do not see how it's convenient to add an estate manager console I already see user dramas this function should be deleted no interest except for the external devs of logicial as ferd fact
