this problem is now reduced.
it should now be safer to test ObjectsCullingByDistance set to true. But better save the region as a oar before.
Select a low view range, set minimap to show all objects (NOT property lines this still crash release version viewers on large regions). As you fly around you should see objects appearing or disappearing in minimap, according to distance and size. Size is a estimation and its based on the smallest sphere than contains the object.
don't forget to set the option to false and restart the region before resuming normal use, since its still a test feature. |

forgot to mention that this option does not include avatars. So don't be scared if you zoom at one far away and see it walking in the air.
Also related to that, updates are based on the avatar position, not camera focus. If you want to see a area, go there! :) |

Also size is prim base size, not real visible size. Cuts, slices, some mesh real dimensions, etc, don't count. |
