I have seen many times when people create a page, saying "this-or-that will be posted here", but then nothing happens, leaving a mostly empty and useless page hanging on the wiki.

Since we would like to cut back dead woo as much as possible, i will mark [[Wiki syntax description]] for deletion, with an expiry one month from now.

You can safely remove that marking when you actually add the promised content to the page.
